Paul was born in 1954 and has lived in the West Midlands for most of his life, settling eventually in the Halesowen/Bromsgrove area. His hobbies include personal development and a number of sports including tennis, racketball and squash. Paul is currently treasurer for Stourbridge Lawn Tennis and Squash Club (approx 1400 members). He has also performed various voluntary roles helping charities and non-profit organisations.
After proving himself in an executive position reporting to the Group Financial Director of a large plc, Paul formed his own Consultancy Practice in 1998 and has been in demand ever since. He has also been the Assistant Director of the world's largest referral organisation (2004 to 2007).
Paul Webb is a professional, interim and part time Financial Controller and Financial Director, often used to trouble shooting roles with rapidly growing and/or poorly performing companies. Working in this part time capacity enables client SMEs to control their businesses in a very cost effective way.
His experience with SMEs includes all aspects of financial control, financial accountancy, management accountancy and some investigative work. Paul specialises in recommending and helping to implement relevant large company financial controls in SMEs. He will train bookkeeping staff to perform many financial control functions e.g. producing accounts to trial balance stage.
Paul is also happy to provide financial control services to medium and large companies including cover for financial controllers, company accountants and undertaking special projects.
Paul does not do audit or tax work, but will recommend other specialists. This enables the client to receive specialist advice for every service required.
